Our ambassadors are young Australian dancers on their way up. We want to back them early: we send gear for class and every day, and we tell their stories here and on our socials.
Who we’re looking for
- Australian dancers aged 16 to 25, with ballet at the heart of your training, whether that’s full time, pre-professional or at your local studio.
- Dancers who share studio life in a way other dancers love to follow. Follower count matters less to us than how you post.
- People who make dance a better place: kind to other dancers, honest about the hard days, and serious about training safely.
Our ambassadors start at 16 because under Australian law, under-16s can’t have accounts on Instagram, TikTok and most other social platforms. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree and sign with you.
What ambassadors get
- A welcome parcel of House of Ballet pieces, and new pieces through the year.
- A profile on this page, and features on our homepage and social channels, always credited and linked back to you.
- A discount code to share with the dancers who follow you.
What we ask
- Wear your pieces, and tag House of Ballet in a couple of posts or stories a month.
- Only post about pieces you like. We’d rather you told us than pretended.
- Mark every post about gifted pieces with #gifted, or with #ad or the platform’s paid partnership label if we’ve paid you. Australian advertising rules require it, and it’s fair to the people who follow you.
How we look after you
Every ambassador gets a short written agreement that says what we give and what we ask, and either side can end it at any time. For ambassadors under 18, a parent or guardian is included in all our messages. We’ll only ask for your clothing sizes, never for weight or body measurements, and we never ask for posts about body shape. We only use your photos with your OK, and we never share your contact details.
How to apply
Send us a message with your name, age and where you train, your social handle, and a few lines about your dancing and what you’d like to share. If you’re under 18, include a parent or guardian’s name. We read every application, and we’ll get in touch if we’d like to meet.
