We collect only what we need to fill your order and answer your questions, and we don’t sell or share it for marketing.
What we collect
- When you order by card: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, entered on Stripe’s secure payment page, plus the items you bought.
- When you reserve for pickup: your name, email address, mobile number and any notes you add.
- When you send us a message: your name, email address, the topic, any order number and your message.
We never see or store your card details. They go directly to Stripe.
How we use it
We use your details to process and deliver your order, arrange pickup, send order confirmations, and reply to your messages. We don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked us to, and we don’t sell, rent or trade your information.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes card payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Australia Post or our courier receives your name, address and phone number so they can deliver your parcel.
- Our web host stores the website, order records and messages on its servers, and sends our emails.
We’ll only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.
Cookies and website data
We use one cookie, which keeps track of your bag and keeps checkout secure. It’s deleted when you close your browser. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites.
To stop spam, the contact form records a scrambled version of your internet connection’s address, which can’t be turned back into the original. It’s deleted after 24 hours.
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your browser’s IP address when a page loads. See Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting, which is generally five years. We keep messages for as long as we need to help you, and delete them after [12 months].
Keeping it safe
The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and order records and messages are stored in a private area of our server that can’t be reached from the web.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it for legal reasons. Just send us a message.
